* Gift cards to big stores like Dillards, Macys, Saks are proving very useful – I can indulge my cosmetic and perfume tastes there!
Update – I LOVE Chanel perfume, travel size is good unless you send it to my PO box- any type.
I’ve been delighted with the great bottles of red wine I’v been receiving on the night of my arrival – always a great gift, sadly won’t get used if received at the end of my stay and I’m flying off the next day…
Thank you to the readers of this blog, I’ve been getting some very good feedback! Apparently there are people who would like me to keep writing of my adventures, and one has suggested something that I think is nice – he suggests that readers might like to send me a gift, as a reward and also a stimulus to keep writing! And he also says that it’s only logic that I’ll meet very few readers at best, so why not?
I like his thinking, so if you are so inclined, here are some things I would enjoy receiving -

Then I really love good restaurants and hotels, so any provision for those are always greatly enjoyed.
And gift vouchers for major bookstores are of course always wonderful.
